About FIGJAM™ and the information we collect
FIGJAM™ is an online forum and community that connects people through our common love of music and support of queer and queer-friendly singers, performers, bands and artists. Our users create their individual profiles parts of which are shown to other users.
Information we collect and track
We collect user-submitted account information such as name and email address to identify users and send notifications related to the use of the service and for upcoming releases and events related to music that you may like. We also collects information you submitted in your profile, such as gender, age, location, etc.
Information not directly submitted
This is information we collect that is not personally identifiable, such as browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all users to the site.
Use of information
We may use a user's email address to send periodic updates or news regarding our site, any new releases or events that a user may be interested in, but the user may choose not to receive email of this type by accessing their account info.
